THE PROBLEM

Everyone deserves a healthy, sustainable period solution

Period poverty affects nearly 500,000 women and girls in LA County - forcing many to miss school, work, or rely on unsafe alternatives. Disposable products aren’t just expensive; they’re filled with unregulated chemicals and generate waste that lasts for centuries.

Our most vulnerable communities are the least likely to know about or access menstrual cups -  the healthiest, most sustainable solution. That’s where we come in.

 Real Impact. Real Stories.

“It helped me to not worry if I had pads or tampons because I know I have my cup and there’s no shortage of something that’s reusable!”

Charlie, 32, Transitional Living Facility

“I know I have a non toxic, affordable, and environmentally friendly option.”

Carmen, 42, Food Distribution Event

“Using a cup has benefited me by helping me save money on menstrual products and has helped my cramps be less painful”

Nicole, 22, Food Distribution Event

HOW IT WORKS

Education, Access, Support. Always free.

We partner with community-embedded organizations to offer free, in-person menstrual cup workshops and tabling events in English and Spanish. Our Educators create safe, welcoming spaces to teach what cups are, how to use them, and their benefits, while inviting open dialogue around periods, stigma, and cultural norms.

Participants receive a free cup, supportive materials, and the option to join our six-month follow-up system, which includes 1:1 text support, digital office hours, and a new user toolkit. We also leave extra cups onsite and provide education for partner staff to help reinforce community knowledge.
