Bilingual Flow Educator
Cheyenne Serano
Cheyenne is an Afro-Latina Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion specialist with over 7 years of experience as a menstrual cup user. She is passionate about promoting sustainable practices and empowering individuals to make informed choices about their bodies. Cheyenne is deeply engaged in justice reform and advocacy work, striving to create a more equitable society for all. Cheyenne hopes to amplify marginalized voices and drive meaningful change in her community. Cheyenne holds a masters degree in Sociology, with an emphasis in race/ethnicity & gender studies. With an extensive background in sociology and DEI, Cheyenne is well versed in the topics of menstrual poverty, accessibility, racial and gender identity, socio-economic barriers, and sustainability. Cheyenne views things through an intersectional lens, taking into account the nuanced identities and experiences people have which allows her to lead with empathy.

Flow Educator
Morgan Turner,
Morgan Turner, a Flow Educator, is a Master of Public Health graduate from Cal State LA, and is passionate about reproductive health equity. Growing up in the South Bay Area and Watts, she has personal experience seeing certain communities being underserved. After obtaining her B.S in Public Health, she began working as a Community Health Worker with Los Angeles County DHS Whole Person Care program, which illuminated the importance of addressing social inequities to improve health outcomes. Additionally, she worked on COVID-19, Birth Equity, and Comprehensive Sex Education projects. As a Flow Educator, Morgan is excited to educate Los Angeles residents about menstrual cups in efforts to reduce shame around period and period products.

Spencer Dahlgren
Spencer Dahlgren is a dedicated leader and systems strategist passionate about advancing menstrual equity through education, outreach, and sustainable solutions. Spencer oversees daily operations, manages the nonprofit’s educators, develops impactful outreach initiatives, and implements efficient workflows to enhance the organization’s reach and effectiveness. With a strong background in operational strategy, program design, and community engagement, Spencer also leverages expertise in design and messaging to create compelling materials that build awareness and inspire action. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Social Entrepreneurship from California Baptist University, Spencer combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to empower individuals and drive meaningful change.

Delphine Hirsh
Delphine, Executive Director & Founder of The Flow, is a trilingual Princeton University graduate with a concentration in Afro-American Studies, and a leader in the menstrual equity movement. She founded LA-based The Flow in 2017 after trying a menstrual cup and realizing its potential to fight period poverty. Previously, she worked at Prep for Prep creating access for young people of color to educational and professional opportunities. She then worked in development and communications at the American Foundation for AIDS Research, helping destigmatize HIV/AIDS and fund research. She has collaborated on menstrual equity legislation in CA

Reyna Hohagen
Reyna Hohagen, The Flow Co-Founder, is a trilingual first-generation immigrant and proud Latina Hispanic consumer insights expert. Her personal immigrant background has shaped her passion for equity while her professional experience as a qualitative researcher has allowed her to explore the issues affecting Latine communities. Reyna leads The Flow’s Spanish-language outreach/education, and the creation of Spanish-language educational materials. With over 25 years moderating groups of Hispanic respondents of all acculturation levels, from recent immigrants to second generation & fully acculturated, Reyna is also the Founder and CEO of Good Leche, a marketing research agency.

Vicki Simon
Vicki Simon is a Duke University graduate with master’s degree from George Washington University, and has a long career in marketing strategy and digital & experience transformation. Vicki lives between Los Angeles and Paris, and has worked for Universal Studios, Disney US, and Disneyland Paris. In addition to helping her husband develop his import/export business, Vicki is developing an online store for French tween/teens to access the latest/healthiest menstrual products.
